Oh Arizona, How I Love Thee!
Yes, our favorite tournament is the Arizona Desert Duel. It's the first tournament of the year and really brings us together, physically and socially, as a team. The tournament has been moved back to the weekend of April 9 - 11, yet we still need to start planning. There's an open spot for us to bring a second team this year so we need to know how many people are interested in going. Let us know what you think; a formal email will be sent out shortly.

what's the low down on hotel???
ReplyDeleteWe're staying at the Sheraton Four Points Hotel in Tempe, AZ on the east side of campus, 1333 South Rural Road. The room rate is $95 for single/double occupancy and $105 if we put four in a room.

ReplyDeleteWhat is the game schedule like? Do we play on Friday? All day games on Saturday? Any games on Sunday?? Just trying to figure out hotel, driving etc... Lori
The official schedule isn't out yet but there's usually a game Friday evening, games all day Saturday and then the finals are on Sunday. Last year I believe the tournament was over by 4pm Sunday.

Glad you're excited Donna. We currently have a block of rooms reserved. As we get closer and the numbers are finalized, we'll work out room arrangements.
